Just nu arbetar bandet p� sitt n�sta album och i samband med detta kommer �ven sidan att byta spr�k till svenska samt uppdateras med helt nytt, fr�scht material b�de vad g�ller text och bild. Det �r �ven t�nkt att en del videomaterial ska tillkomma l�ngre fram.

On Saturday 15th April, Uran plays live at FPP (Fetish People Party) in Gothenburg, who will arrange a different kind of fetish party this time...

Vlona and her crew promise you a really exciting show! And, remember: as always she expects lots of underwear thrown on stage...

The party starts at 22:00 and ends at 04:00

Dresscode for this particular event: Fetish or extreme synth/goth

Entry fee: 120 SEK - Notice! You have to register on this homepage http://www.fetishpeople.org before the party begins, otherwise you won't recieve permission to enter the building.

URAN fighting for female and childrens rights!

Singer Vlona Koorbash has started a country wide, and rapidly growing campaign against sexually related violence against women and children on the internet.

"I definately knew there was a lack of these kind of actions, yes - but I couldn't imagine there would be such an enormous need for some kind of channel for the victims to express themselves." she says as we talk to her about her work.

"The feedback from people in general has been great, too. This really opens up a lot of people's eyes, taking bad focus from the victim and all this "suit-yourself"-mentality that we still have in our society."

On the homepage abused women can send in their stories, poems, lyrics, artwork, photography... to express their healing process - helping others.

The concept of the campaign, which is called "Sparka Tillbaks Nu!" (something like "kick back now"), is to encourage the abused women to publish their lyrics, poems, short stories, artwork, photography... well anything they have used as a way of expressing themselves, guiding them through the healing process. Other people can really learn from this, especially will the way we view women and children as members of our society with less human rights, if not rapidly, but at least steadily change!

If you want to support this campaign, there are lots of things you can do as a private person or through your company, for example by putting the banner on your website. Find out more by visiting the "Sparka Tillbaks Nu"-site (swedish only at the moment).

Secret gig

Uran entertained the students at LBS (Ljud- och Bildskolan) in Varberg just around lunch break with an unannounced gig. "It was a great thing to play in front of a younger audience this time", Jah said after the gig, and band colleague Vlona agrees. "We'll definately try to focus on giving concerts with a younger age limit as well", she says, "the disposal of alcohol should not prevent our underaged fans from seeing us live."

The gig has been filmed, which means you will be able to watch an URAN live concert for the first time online, very soon...

Uran would like to thank all of you for your great support yesterday night at the concert together with Cat Rapes Dog in Statisch, in Gothenburg. We really had a great time on stage, and also later as we were out there among the people talking, drinking - just having a good time.

Greetings to Cat Rapes Dog and thanks for a great gig! On the live material you'll see a girl with artificial red hair, standing on the dancefloor among the crowd, pressed against the stage, jumping hysterically happy up and down singing "Open the doors, open the doors, I have a horse full of whores". That's Vlona...

However, unfortunately, an error was made by the merchandise, and therefor we would like to bring out the fact that the actual price of the album "Tales from a tub" is 60,- SEK and not 160,- SEK, which was mistakenly set out.

The gallery will soon be extended with more sections and lots of pictures, we promise!

...Uran plays a live gig together with famous swedish act Cat Rapes Dog. Make sure you'll be there, it's a special event: this will be the re-union gig of CrD and Uran feels honoured to be a part of this excellent show!

Vlona poisoned

Jah has been working alone lately, since Vlona got poisened by her new medication. "I've never been in such incredible pain before" she says "I got really high fever for days, migraine without an end, a sore skin rash and all muscles and joints in my body felt like they were gonna explode - I was laying in bed all the time, pitying myself enormously!" she laughs.

The band members hope to be able to continue their work as soon as possible.

Hi everybody! We hope you have a nice time in the sun; remember to eat lots of ice cream and never bother being the fittest person on the beach - as long as you have the right music pumping out of your speakers (hopefully disturbing your neighbours with anti-chart noise they never heard about), you'll definately rule! Besides, who cares what other people think, right? And now end to this smalltalking and over to some bandnews:

Jah and I are working hard, sweating in the studio. Right now we're working on some new material for the gig with Cat Rapes Dog on Statisch in Gothenburg 2005-09-16. At the moment we've been working with a piece called "Me and my slut", with video production soon to take place.

By the way: ATTENTION! From now on you can pay via swedish or german bank account, or by using PayPal. Remember, the first edition is limited to only 100 copies. So hurry to send your order if you want to have one of the albums from this rare edition! (The first 100 copies will be numbered)
